Jetter notes that over the past 15 years “the world has experienced a terrifying, exponential increase in the number of terrorist attacks”. Jetter compared headline-grabbing terrorist attacks with those that occurred during a bigger story, such as a natural disaster, and found a clear link between the number of articles devoted to the initial terrorist incident and the number of follow-up attacks over the next few weeks. Banning media on reporting terrorist’s attacks would decrease their activities. Media provides a platform to such groups so they could advertise their terror to the surface dwellers. From the above studies conducted by different people less exposure towards such activities would decrease violence and the rate of crimes would also decrease because people inspiring from these incidents would have no source of inspiration, at least not from the media. 1.3.6. Restriction in the working areas or offices of these sites leads to positive results in the progress of the company but it is possible that the employees may be communicating with the outside world, but many of those people on the outside are consumers and possible clients. Blocking social media may unleash PR problems. The effects of blocking social media will trickle down to the public—quickly. Look, you want your employees to network and want to know what other companies are doing and to be in touch with the heartbeat of your market. So, banning media results to less productivity, destruction of the company, low confidence & morale of the workers. In short, no information and no outcome is received.
